My homage to Tammy of D.I.Y. Nails! Tammy’s nails are sooo good and I sooo wish I lived near her so I could get my nails done by her all the time! However…I still got my hands on some of her work through her Nail Mail which is so awesome (I got gold glitter gradients which I wore to Drake). So go get yourself some Nail Mail!

This wasn’t inspired by a specific mani, but more by Mel’s overall style. I just started drawing nails that I liked and came up with this. Now I just wish I had some awesome talon nails to complete the look!

My homage to Freestyle Nails! She always has some of the coolest, most original nails on my dash and I look forward to seeing her new stuff every time she posts. When I saw these nails I thought they were so effing cool, so I knew they’d be the ones I did for my homage to her! Of course I had to recreate them in neon, though… cuz I just can’t help myself. Oh and I added the cross on the thumb because while the design looked great on her I just thought it looked too empty on me for some reason haha.

My homage to Candice, aka Mr. Candiipants! Candice was one of the first people I followed when I started my nail blog, not only because of her badass nails but also because of her sarcastic sense of humor and her quirkiness. She’s always seemed super personable and her nails are consistently awesome. I love her florals and her chevron/zigzag patterns, so I combined this manicure with this one and did the pointer & middle as accent nails :) The florals were super fun to do, too!
