My homage to Beautopia Nails! I kept seeing this design by her reblogged over and over again on my dashboard and I absolutely love it! Also, meet my new friend Ted. A coworker brought us all little plastic dinosaurs at work (because yes, we’re all super mature) and he’ll be making an appearance every now and then.

This is my homage to Asanisimasa for Homage Month. She used the tape method which I love but I was feeling lazy so I simply used the silver nail art brush. I love these!! I also played around with my photo editor filters- was feeling fun today!

April is Homage Month.
Honestly, it’s hard to pin point one person to pay homage to, all of the nail artist’s on tumblr inspire me everyday. Though, I would have to say, this manicure (besides shape) is somehow a homage to Mr.Candiipants. I love her style and her sense of humor. She was one of the first nail art blogs I followed and a pretty huge inspiration for myself getting my own nail art blog.
This week I decided I wanted to try out a pointed nail shape. Since my nails obviously aren’t long enough for this, I had to put some false ones on. I have to say, while I need practice, I like the change; however, it makes my boyfriend cringe so I probably won’t be doing it too often haha.
I used CG’s Liquid Leather, CG’s Snow, Julep’s Parker, and OPI’s Fly.

My homage to my B4L Emmie of Just Tis Ems…I haven’t known Emmie very long and it took no time at all for me to fall in love with her ^_^. She is just simply awesome and a fellow nail art mommy (bonus points lol).
I chose Emmie’s Grunge Nails because they are fricking amazing. I think I even told her I wanted to hug her nails when I saw them. They’re so cool to do and super sexy in person!!
