Day 29…Inspired by the Supernatural
Day 27…Inspired by Artwork
The polishes I used are:
Borghese in Marino
Maybelline in Be Scene in Green
Sinful Colors in Snow me White, Envy, and Pull Over
My sparkle of choice is Nails Inc. special effect 3D glitter in Connaught Square. This is the most unique and amazing glitter polish ever. It sucks that it doesn’t picture well. From the pictures you can see that it is very textured it looks like a beautiful stone and it feels like stone, you definitely need a super shine top coat for the best effect. It has small dust like blue glitters and larger purple ones that literally twinkle. Plus it only took 2 coats for complete coverage. What other glitter polish does that? I’m definitely going to get the other colors, I’m in love!
Day 18…Half Moons
I’ve already done a couple of half moons during this challenge already (^_^) but the difference is I did these freehand. I didn’t use any reinforcements, just Kiss Nail art polishes.
I recycled my glitter polish because I love it so much and I think I got better shots of it’s sparkly loveliness.
Day 20…Water Marble
Wow 20 days down, it’s going by so quickly. Now let’s talk about water marbling, omg it’s fun and annoying at the same time lol. Hats off to all the water marble divas. Of course this was my first time doing this so I checked out a few tutorials first, they all lied to me making it look so easy. Anyone doing this for the first time, know that you have to do a practice run. Practice dropping the polish in the water. The key is move quickly and close enough to the water surface but not too close or it won’t spread. Then you have to practice how to dip your nail in and clean up the excess polish. Lets not even get into the tape and clean up…exhausting (^_^)
I won’t be doing water marbling on myself anytime soon but I’m not giving up on it. The results are so unique and beautiful I definitely want to get better at it.
The polishes I used were:
Sinful Colors Snow me White and Timbleberry
Day 24…inspired by a book
I chose my boyfriends favorite baby book that we now read to our son, Winnie the Pooh The Honey Tree. I had a I’m sick brain fart and did the Pooh upside down, so I’m posting 2 photos (^_^). Happy Friday!!!
