The final challenge! I did it and I’m broken lol. I’ve learned to appreciate everytime I do my nails, no more doing my nails every 3 days (^_^) For Day 31 you’re suppose to redo your favorite challenge and I wanted to redo glitter. Mainly because I wanted to attempt the Candy Mani. I hope my photo does well to show the layering. The polishes used are: Sinful Colors- Feeling Great, I Miss You and Forget Now

Day 19…Galaxy This is my first Galaxy manicure.  I remember when I first started checking out nail art and saw galaxy nail designs I thought WOW I could never do that.  How did they do that?  That’s so cool!  Now check me out 3 months later being able to do it (^_^) I’ve come a long way with practice and all the inspiration from the great/amazing nail art bloggers on tumblr, thank you!  The polishes I used are: Sinful Colors Secret Admirer for the base, it’s a black with fine silver glitter Essie Mesmerize (blue) Brucci Platninum (Pearlescent white) Glow in the Dark Pumpkin Enamel in the darker neon green and hot pink. I then topped it off with the Pumpkin Enamel glitter polish photographed, it has silver and black glitter.

Day 19…Galaxy

Day 20…Water Marble
Wow 20 days down, it’s going by so quickly. Now let’s talk about water marbling, omg it’s fun and annoying at the same time lol. Hats off to all the water marble divas. Of course this was my first time doing this so I checked out a few tutorials first, they all lied to me making it look so easy. Anyone doing this for the first time, know that you have to do a practice run. Practice dropping the polish in the water. The key is move quickly and close enough to the water surface but not too close or it won’t spread. Then you have to practice how to dip your nail in and clean up the excess polish. Lets not even get into the tape and clean up…exhausting (^_^)
I won’t be doing water marbling on myself anytime soon but I’m not giving up on it. The results are so unique and beautiful I definitely want to get better at it.

Day 21…Inspired by a color Wasn’t completely sure about this one until I checked out chalkboardnails blog. She interpreted it as being inspired by the name of a nail color (genius). So I chose Maybelline Express Finish in Autumn Leaves. To draw the orange leaves I used Sephora nail color in Mangua. For the red leaves I used a la color nail art polish. I topped it off with Sinful Colors Paris.

Day 23- Inspired by a movie! I chose Alice in Wonderland, a little disney and mostly Tim Burton. The pinky is a given, disney Cheshire Cat. Then it’s my pattern interpretation of Alices’ Red Dress (I love that dress). Middle finger is my Red Queen hehe. The white rose with red drips is from the Tim Burton movie when she says to paint the white roses red and finally my horrible Mad Hatter Hat (^_^)
